1925 Earthquake Centennial Interfaith Prayer Service

Sunday, June 29 — 2:00 p.m. (Old Mission Santa Barbara front lawn)

At 6:44 a.m. on June 29, 1925, a powerful earthquake devastated Santa Barbara, killing 11 people and destroying or damaging much of downtown. It was a pivotal moment in Santa Barbara’s history.

Please join us for this Interfaith Prayer Service, which will honor the memory of the 11 people who lost their lives due to the earthquake, and will affirm the importance of faith communities working together in times of crisis.
