IMMIGRATION RESOURCES
In light of the current immigration situation in our country, which has resulted in widespread worry and uncertainty in our parishes, schools and communities, let us pray that our brothers and sisters living in fear may find strength and peace in our support through God’s work.
Below are links to two important resources for undocumented immigrants:
. The Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ Immigration Resources page, which contains the most up-to-date immigration information.
. Frequently Asked Questions for Undocumented Persons in 2025, a comprehensive document created by the SoCal Immigration Task Force, which addresses many of the questions posed by our undocumented community, and provides practical guidance during these uncertain times.
PRAYING THE MASS: A DEEP DIVE IN REAL TIME
All Masses — November 7 and 8
(Mission Church)
All Masses on November 7 and 8 (Saturday 4:00 p.m and Sunday 7:30, 9:00 and 11:00 a.m.) will be in the “slow” format, which will include brief commentary at particular points of the liturgical celebration. The commentary will be especially focused on the role of the praying assembly and promises to be both educational and spiritually inspiring! Please join us!
*** The “slow” format will only extend each Mass by 10 minutes.
SLOW MOTION MASS REFLECTION GATHERING
Sunday, November 15
12:30 p.m. (Bonaventure Hall)
Please join us as we gather with Father Pedro Lopez, Pastor of Our Lady of Guadalupe parish, for a time of reflection on our experience of the “Slow Mass” on November 7-8. Fr. Pedro has extensive liturgical experience and a great love for the liturgy. Together, we’ll share our learnings, explore questions, and reflect on the insights and discoveries we gained along the way!
